Nice Dunks
Some images of the Nike “Coraline” Dunk Hi, celebrating the upcoming movie stop motion animated film, have already circulated the Internet. Today we can show you some great new pictures of the Dunk Hi, for the first time also showing the large button on top of the laces. Vans is showing a variety of special collaborations for Fall 2009 at BRIGHT in Frankfurt, Germany. One of the standout “packs” comes from work with Holland artist, Parra. The collection is proper - Parra himself has been skating since his youth and was a sponsored skater in his teenage years. The shoe collection features Parra’s signature work against three Vans’ canvases. Three t-shirts are also being produced as part of the Parra “Pack” offering. Look for them in Fall 2009.

My man TK's Pro Model By Supra
I give you a first look at the upcoming Pro Model that Supra developed together with Terry Kennedy. These days it seems like, the higher the better with sneakers. With this style Supra goes higher up, than with their current flagship model - the Skytop. In this preview we show you a purple suede colorway of the sneaker and a black perforated colorway, both featuring a double velcro strap on the top.

Los Angeles-based Crooks & Castles will be joining the sneaker game by collaborating with skate shoe giant Vans. Based on the Fremont High model, it will come in white and black colorways with Crooks’ red/green/black strap accents reminiscent of Gucci’s high-end design. These are scheduled to be released early spring of ’09 and will only be sold at the 8021 store.

Ringing in the new year, Vans breaks out a pack of kicks for their Spring/Summer session. Using two of their more popular silhouettes, SK8 Hi and Authentic, the California classics combine a contrasting royal blue and white two-tone color scheme with checkered interior detailing. Hooking it up with a mix of leather and canvas, both models can be purchased at select Vans retailers including the colette online store.

Recently released at the Bape Stores in Japan are new colorways for Bape’s Bapesta88 sneaker. Both the high top and the low cut variations are available each coming in two colorful colorways. The Bapesta88 high’s are priced at 17,640 YEN while the Bapesta88 low’s come in at 16,590 YEN.

Nice shoes
A nice low suede show is coming from the YSL sports collection. A light brown version with gum sole and black suede version with matching sole. They both come with a worn look and some nice stitching details on the toe. It seems like they come with elastics on the inside, rather than laces.
The YSL Low Suede is now available in the two above colorways at Concepts.
